Doorbell battery only shows green light

HiOne of the batteries for my Video Doorbell 2 shows only a green light when connected to charge. I know it's flat (or at least not working) as I've only just taken it out of the doorbell.Is the unit dead or is there anything I can do?Thanks in advance
