Doorbell 1 mounting height - 48" from top or bottom?
Instructions say to mount Ring doorbell 1 48" from the ground. Is tht 48" to the top of the doorbell, the bottom, or to the camera? Thank you!

I just came on here to ask the same question as I'm about to drill the wall for the cable. My door is 2 steps up from ground level so I was planning on mounting it 48" from the ground level rather than from the bottom of the door but like the original question it makes a difference where I drill the hole if it's 48" the bottom or 48" to the top of the unit!

Although being precise isn't as critical as you might be thinking. In that 'ballpark' will be fine. Some people mount the doorbell a little higher for a better view of the vistor's face and to have a further detection range, and some like it a little lower to see if there is a mail package delivery. :)
