Disappointed with Ring – Reporting to FCC and Consumer Protection Agencies

I’m beyond frustrated with Ring. My doorbell camera stopped working after just 1 year and 4 months, and the company refuses to offer any replacement or support simply because it’s outside their 1-year warranty. For a device at this price point, this is absolutely unacceptable. (called customer support and I was met with a rude service agent named Cororna- she said “others have the device I do and it still works.” I can’t get a hold of anyone either. I know I’m just one person but I know there’s other this happens to. It’s outrageous that a major tech company would turn its back on hard-working Americans over a clearly faulty product. I’m in the process of filing formal complaints with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Better Business Bureau (BBB), and my State Attorney General’s Office. Ring has lost my trust, and I will never purchase from them again. If you’re considering their products—think twice. Consumers deserve better.
