Customized motion zones is trash

I was excited to see that I could now customize my motion zone on my door bell because I hated that semi circle because I would constantly get motion alerts regardingless of zone coverage. So I customized my area so now it only covers my front yard and drive way. No streets in sight but yet I still constant motion notifications from every car passing by. The customized zones and people detection don't work. In fact the people detection feature has never worked. I constantly also have large areas in my video play back that says "this footage is unavailable"??? The ring door bell is not even worthy of being my dogs chew toy at this point....I'm definitely looking into other alternatives..?
