Corrosion in doorbell

Cannot fit plug into my door bell. So it obviously cannot be charged.Sent pics and they said it was corrosion inside plug which is problem. Said I needed a new ring and since i bought it in 2019 it is out of warranty so most they will offer is 35 percent off. Why would I want to pay for ANOTHER defective cheap product? Googling this I see it happens to mutitudes of others. And customer service knew exacytly what it was.Shouldnt a ring last for more than 2-3 year in a covered location? Cheap and inferior product obviously.I have rings at two homes, pay for monitoring and this is horrible. How can you get away with this.Sell something inferiorYou then want me to pay for a other one.Ridiculous. Never ever again.
