Chimes with iPhone connection issue

Ongoing issue . Last Christmas I changed the ringtone to a Christmas tune. I have been over 5 months to sort it . I can change the tone on the bell , however it still plays the Christmas tone on the phones .. if I turn the iPhones off completely I get no sound at all from the bell or chime . Once the phone is turned on , volume from bell and chime but still Christmas on phone ! The bell is hardwired and I have just reset the chime but the problem is still there . I don’t want to still have Christmas tones on the phone in summer nor do I want the phone to have to be on just to hear the doorbell . I’m at a complete loss what to try next and any suggestions would be appreciated . Thank you
