Camera protection cover

Question

Hi all, I am fairly certain that someone tried to damage my ring doorbell deliberately. Wondering if there is something I can do to protect the camera part of the device. Has this happened to anyone else? ![image|375x500](upload://n8aDZhz7mjv95bVJKfaF3GBcX27.jpeg)

Hi @PDub8. I'm sorry to hear about this happening. If you haven't already, I really would urge you to contact your police department and possibly file a report for physical damage of your property or even attempted theft if you think someone may have been trying to steal the Doorbell. They may have some suggestions on what you can do as well.

@PDub8 Did the camera record the damage happening?  It does look like someone has tried specifically to 'blind' the camera by damaging the section right over the lens.
