Blue Circle Flashing

I can’t set up my Ring because the blue circle keeps flashing. Ring troubleshooting says it’s the internal battery that has to be charged. After an hour it is still flashing blue. Can anyone help?

    Mine did rhis right out if the box. I charged it a bit and also did a hard reset. (Hold orange button down for 15 seconds the release) this solved the issue
