Use an Extension Cord with the Spotlight Cam Wired?
The 20' electrical power cord that comes with the Spotlight Cam Wired is too short to reach an outlet from the location where I want to install the Cam. Can I use a short (6' - 8') heavy duty extension cord to make up the distance?

You could use one. But I'd make sure it's for outside use and also tape up the connection so no water can get in and so no one could quickly disconnect it as well.
