Update to Ring Stick Up Camera Software

I've searched around for a solution and all I can find is to buy another $20 accessory in order for me to ceiling mount my Ring Stick Up Camera. It's so ridiculous that I have to spend more money in order to use an already expensive product. I just want to be able to flip the video like I can with my Indoor cameras. Ring, it's a mere software update. Please tell me it's in the works!
