Does the Stick Up Cam Battery get it's Wifi connection from my modem or my Ring alarm base station (or extender)?

It connects to your router. It doesn't connect to the alarm or the alarm extender. If you need, a Chime Pro could help extend your connection or any wifi extender as well. HTH
