Spotlight Cam Broken

My spotlight cam began telling me the battery door was open, for about a week, then it stopped working altogether. Now it wont power on at all, with either, or both batteries in. When a battery is inserted, there is a red light inside next to the battery, but that is the only activity it has.Batteries are fully charged. Known working, as I tested them in my doorbell.There is also a solar panel for the cam, but it doesnt work with it installed or not.
