Spiders and bugs

I know this question has been asked before but I think it is one of the issues that really plagues the security camera industry. Why in the age of AI does a person detection function not know a spider or cat from a person? Has anyone heard whether improvements are being worked on and possible release dates to improve this? The other question was whether people have better experience with their doorbell than security cameras? Our door bell rarely captures spiders, cats etc where as the security cameras do all the time. Maybe it is just our placement of these which is better for the doorbell.
