Ring Stickup Camera DC Input Voltage Barrel Plug
I have a ring stickup camera purchased in 2024. It came with a battery and solar panel I am trying to convert it to hard wired as it wasn't getting enough sun, and I also want improved functionality of a wired setup (better motion detection). I connected a DC 5V power source to it in the barrel plug and changed it to wired mode. However, the Ring camera still think it is still connected to solar (which shines 24/7) and says it has reduced functionality because it has lost power. I called in to ring and they said the DC barrel plug for hard wired ring stickup camera should be 24V, which seems pretty high. Does anyone have a ring wired camera and can confirm that the voltage level is indeed 24V? I don't want to fry this thing.

Hi @Snowstorm. I recommend using this Indoor/outdoor Power Adapter if you are looking to use your Stick Up Cam in Wired Mode.
