Ring 5 watt solar panel

Ring cam with one battery attached to solar 5 watt panel slowly draining battery about one percent per day . In a sunny spot in Florida. Cam on battery saver settings. Is this normal? I thought it would charge up during the day to full or near full and drain some at night and repeat. At this rate will have to switch out battery in a couple of weeks.
