No Motion Within Plexiglass Box

I recently moved my Stick Up Cam into a plexiglass front security box ([https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07GFN7T62/ref=cm\_sw\_r\_cp\_api\_fabt1\_CJjXFb8V6VC6R?\_encoding=UTF8&psc=1](https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07GFN7T62/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_CJjXFb8V6VC6R?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)). Since putting it inside the box, it’s no longer detecting motion. I would think since it’s a clear front it would still function properly?
