Is there a way to charge the outdoor cam battery without removing it?

I want to install an outdoor cam, but the closest outlet is controlled by the same timer that turns on our lights in the evening. If I got the battery spotlight cam, is there a way to plug it into this outlet so that the battery is charged at night when the outlet has power? That way the camera is always on, but during the day it runs on battery power.
