Floodlight camera not connecting to internet

My floodlight cam, all of a sudden, stopped connecting to the internet. Then during set up I was being told there was a problem connecting to the internet despite the signal being strong. I tried many times and also tried a hard reboot but it still wouldn't connect. I finally got connected after I went into the router settings and deleted the cam that was apparently connected to the WiFi. After restarting set up the cam was connected immediately. Hope this helps someone else that is struggling to connect
