Floodlight Cam flashing on and off

My Floodlight Cam is acting strange. Previously, when it detected motion, the light would turn on and stay on for a few minutes and then turn off. Now, when it detects motion, it turns on and off at about 1 second intervals and continues to do that for the same amount of time it used to stay steady on. I've tried resetting it and making sure it's updated, but it's still happening. Has anyone else experienced this and/or know what's happening? Does the device just need to be replaced?
