Echo showing in devices
ring-website

On the web interface, devices tab, I have an echo showing under my devices and it is offline. Anyone know why this would be showing up here? I have 6 echo devices and they are all online. I do have one echo show with the camera shutter closed. Even if I open it, it does not change the status. ![image|329x290](upload://90yFLjAeoWsSCur8D2IDqkxvTpJ.png)

Hi @r6kmb. That is showing a Stick Up Cam that's offline, not an Amazon Echo device. Do you have a Stick Up Cam you aren't currently using or that you no longer have? You should be able to tap on the Device, go to Device Settings > General Settings > Remove This Device. I hope that helps clear things up. :)

I will probably need to contact support. It doesn't show in the app at all, just it the web interface and I can't delete it from the web. I also don't have any Stick Up Cams that I am no longer using.

@r6kmb Thanks for that additional information. Yes, I would recommend reaching out to our support team for further assistance on this to ensure that only the devices you own are showing up in your RIng App. You can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support.

@Caitlyn_Ring I called Ring technical support about this and they said it is a 3rd party Amazon device issue. I was to call Amazon support. This doesn't make any sense to me...

Hi there, neighbors! If this is showing up on your Ring account via web browser, but not in your Ring app, please ensure there is not an old location, or another location, that might show up with old devices. @EvilAlan, feel free to share a screenshot of this concern, if possible. Thank you!

Here's a screen shot from the website. Like the original poster, I have several Alexa devices. What shows up in the app is my 4th Gen echo as a connected device. I also have an echo show and it works with the Ring skill. ![image|336x419](upload://wSLLXrRYogMzsjLFGBMvAZAY67N.png)

I can't remember the full reason but this is something to do with the Echo 4th gens being a smart hub for various things. I think it can be used as a hub to control locks or lights etc which can be viewed in the ring app. There is another thread somewhere about it. I think it is only the 4th gen Echos which will show up.
