Ring Security Cameras
Driveway - spotlight cam
I am having issues with my camera. Every time this happens; I am told that in order to reboot it I have to push the button at the top of the camera so they can determine the problem. My Camera is about 10 feet up high, and I don't own a ladder high enough to reach it. I am told I need to get someone to help with this if I can't do it myself. I end up having to hire someone to come check it. Which does not make any sense. I wish I knew before I had this professionally installed so high. I have had this new camera 5 months. It seems like there should be an easier way to troubleshoot. I am very upset and unhappy with this situation. I have been a subscriber to Ring for many years and this is my second camera in this location. I have two others, and I don't seem to have the reoccurring issues like I do with the ones in the front yard.

Hi @user_4d27dc. Unfortunately, some troubleshooting steps require you to press the setup button on the device. What is the RSSI for this cam? That information is located in the Device Health menu of the Ring app.
