Define motion zones screen missing 1/3 of my cam view
I have a stick-up cam on my front porch. When I look at the view through the cam, I can see my entire porch, but when I go into the screen to define motion zones, the view I see is missing the upper 1/3 of the view which is exactly where I need to define the motion zones. Can someone please help me understand why this is happening? Is there a setting somewhere that's causing this?

only with the recent Ring software update to my phone did the "motion sensor area" decrease. before the update the coverage was much more.

due to this issue, i was wondering about changing the outdoor camera sideways.. will it get a more portrait view than the wasted landscape view i have now? anyone turned the camera angle on the stickup cam?

Hi @Inkswamp. This concern is addressed in a similar post [here](https://community.ring.com/t/stick-up-battery-camera-setting-a-motion-zone-screen-cut-off/27177/26), where Chelsea explains that the Motion Zones can't be extended to the full area of your Live View when you're creating them. This is because the area your Camera covers is slightly larger than the area your motion sensors cover. I hope this helps answer any questions you have. :)
