Continuous Recording stick up cam

I have subscribed to the ring plus plan but I cannot see how to set my camera to continuously record. I’ve adjusted it to 120 seconds but that’s just when there’s a motion. Why can’t I set it to record continuously? Thanks.

Hi @JoJo4774. Ring Cameras and Doorbells do not support continuous or 24/7 recording. Your Camera will record when motion is detected, or when the Live View is activated. Subscribing to the [Ring Protect plan](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001671383-General-Information-on-Ring-Protect-Subscription-Plans) unlocks access to video recording, as without a plan you can only access the Live View. You can also utilize the [Snapshot Capture](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034355652-Timeline-Security-Snapshots-Using-Snapshot-Capture) feature to take snapshot images at a selected interval. This helps you review what's happened between motion or Live View events. I hope this helps clear things up.
