Can you pause video recording along with alerts?

Is it possible to pause motion/video recordings during certain times of the day? I know you can pause alerts, but for a couple of my cameras I'd like to have them not record at certain times when "approved motion" is expected. It makes it hard to search the timeline for valuable recordings when so many are not helpful. Thanks!
