Buyer Beware of the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro

I purchased the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro just over 2 years ago and the LED lights have already gone bad. The lights strobe constantly even when the light mode is turned off in the app rendering the device useless. I called the customer support and ran through all the troubleshooting including a factory reset along with turning off and on the breaker and nothing resolved it. The representative said after all that, the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro is defective. She said there is nothing they can do to help remediate the situation because the item is only under warranty for one year. Ring clearly doesn’t stand behind their devices. That’s a shame as I have been a long time customer with the Ring Doorbell but with the flood light having known defects and unable to use anymore I don’t think I’ll be sticking with Ring much longer. Just putting this out there for others with the same issue or if you were thinking about getting one. Save yourself the trouble.
