Ring Security Cameras
Buy from Amazon
Amazon has better pricing. If you want to save money, the stick up security camera sells for $150 if you buy direct from Ring. The same product sells for $110 on Amazon. I bought 3 of them, because the sales rep told me I was getting the 2.4 GhZ solar panel, paying $120 more than on Amazon for 3. When I received my order, the solar panels were 21% less charging power using the panel and I paid more. The best solution the Ring customer service gave me was 30% coupon off my next Ring order, which is still more than buying from Amazon. Buy from Amazon, not Ring. I’m disappointed. Don’t make the same mistake.

Hi @user45689. Thank you for sharing. The listing for the Stick Up Cam Solar on Amazon.com appears to be on sale, as the base list price is the same as on Ring.com. Amazon.com is an official retailer of Ring devices, so neighbors can feel free to take advantage of any sales or promotions available. Regarding the Solar Panel, it is designed to provide a trickle charge to the battery, as long as it receives sufficient direct sunlight every day. Typically, we recommend at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day. You can find more information and troubleshooting steps [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/10264201238292-Solar-Panel-2nd-Generation-Small-Solar-Panel-Troubleshooting) for your Solar Panel.
