Just bought a new Ring Doorbell and right after activation it says that my ring protect free trial is already expired
Like the description says, I bought a brand new Ring 4 and I was supposed to get Ring Protect free for 30 days but as soon as I activated the device, the apps says that my free trial is already expired. I thought new Ring devices always included Ring Protect free for 30 days. What happened with this one?

Hi @Edguz. Just like @trail-explorer said, have you tried to view any of your previously recorded motion events or Live Views? I'd say to give that a try first, as well as checking the status of your plan on the Ring website. If you aren't able to view any recordings, I'd recommend contacting our support team so they can take a look and make sure your Ring Protect trial is in place. You can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support. :)

Are you able to view recorded videos in the history? It seems I remember I had a similar issue and the message is in error. Best way is to log onto your account on a pc and check the status of your trial. It should show how many days remaining but, again, best way to see if it is in effect right now is to just check history, or force a recording and then check it.
