Doorbell replacement to plan

My doorbell stopped went offline and was unable to be fixed. I purchased a new one and replaced it. Do I have to cancel my ring subscription or can I remove the old device and replace with the new one. Or do I have to cancel it and start a new one? If I have to cancel, will a refund for the part year be provided?

Hi @user_2fef33. You will have to cancel and subscribe to a new plan. When canceling your plan, you will get a prorated refund for what you have not used of it.
