Automatic deletion of video history when Plan expires - How about a little grace period or notice?

I just lost all of my video History because, without any reminder or notice, my Plan expired due to failure of auto-renew. There was simply an issue with the credit card which I could have addressed had I known about it. Would it be such a big deal to send subscribers a notice that renewal failed and videos would be deleted if renewal was not completed in, say, 72 hours or something like that? My account is linked to Amazon. THX

Hi @user42195. If the automatic renewal charge fails, the charge is attempted again, and you should receive an email notice about this. I’d suggest checking your junk and spam folders to see if the email might have been sent there. If you have any further billing questions, please reach out to our support team.

Right. That’s how I found out about the problem, but that does not address the point of my suggestion. My video history is gone. A reasonable grace period after a failed charge would have kept my video history from being deleted. That is not a customer friendly process.
