Ring App
All devices removed, but still can't delete location
I have two location on my Ring app. One is no longer used. I deleted all the devices on that location. To validate, I have gone into devices and there are none showing. However, when I attempt to delete the location, it displays message "all devices must be removed before a location can be deleted"

I'm using the website and having the same issue. Idk why it's always such a hassle to add, troubleshoot, and remove devices. Very, very poor tech skills, guy. Shameful. Try some Q-C-ing every now and then

CHi @user56953. While you can view your devices from Ring.com, adding or removing devices and managing your Locations should be done within the Ring app. You can learn more about Locations in the Ring app [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005040023-Understanding-Locations-for-Ring-Devices). If you're still not able to remove a Location after removing all devices associated with it in the Ring app, then it's best to get in touch with our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus) to take a closer look.

After quite a lot of Google search, Reddit, and some posts on this community, Ring support chat recommended looking at my Amazon-linked account and respective Devices (in this case one of my Echo devices). In my case, I had to disable and remove the Amazon Link Account entirely (the link between Ring and Amazon account), and that did the trick.Upon doing that, I was able to remove my old location, and then re-do the steps in the new location to link Amazon and Ring accounts, and re-add my Ring doorbell to Alexa.

UThank you @denystaka ! I've been dealing with this for over a year and finally stumbled on your post, which resolved the issue for me. I wasn't able to delete an old location until I unlinked my Amazon account (which removed the Alexa skill), then I was able to delete the location, then I was able to re-link my Amazon account. I can't believe Ring hasn't done something about this. It wouldn't take much time or development to update the message in the app to mention that all devices need to be removed AND ALL ACCOUNTS NEED TO BE UNLINKED before you can remove a location. Just add a few words to the location removal check dialog. If you really want to make your customers happy, add some logic to check if there are any accounts linked and then provide a proper message depending on the situation (devices still exist, accounts still linked, etc.) - This should be trivial development, even for a Junior developer. Sheesh...

Hi @ScottB2. Try uninstalling the Ring app and reinstalling it, but before doing so, please make sure your phone is running Android version 9 or higher, and for iOS, version 14 or higher, otherwise you will not be able to reinstall the Ring app. If you have tried this step and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
