Temporary power supply to Outdoor Siren

Given the supply delay on the Ring DC power unit for the outdoor siren, can I use a transformer providing DC output: 18V, Max Current 1A, Max Wattage 18W?

    Yes you can. Just needs to be over 15W which that is.
