Ring Keypad Gen2 Water Alert Not Dismissable
Hello, I have connected my Ring Keypad Gen2 and other accessories to Home Assistant using Z-Wave JS. While playing around with it, I activated the water alarm which made the keypad say "Water detected" and the 1, 3, 7, and 9 keys started blinking. Initially, I thought they would stop after a predefined time but it has been hours and they didn't. I would like to use this feature in my alarm setup but I cannot determine how to dismiss the lights. I believe the same issue exists with the flood alert as well. Currently, the only solution to the problem is to manually click the pinhole button on the back of the keypad to reset it. Is there any way this can be done through Z-Wave?

Hi @skaggerik. You can dismiss alerts from the Flood and Freeze Sensor in the Ring app directly. This should then also clear the alert from the Ring Keypad.

Hi @user_9f65dc. Alerts from the Flood and Freeze Sensor can be dismissed directly in the Ring app, which should stop the alert on the Ring Keypad as well. Ring isn't officially integrated with Home Assistant, so I can't speak to what would and would not work in that integration.
