Ring Base Station Pro on Ziply Fiber?

I'm trying to connect a new Ring Base Station Pro, with built-in Eero Wi-Fi 6 router, to my Ziply Fiber ONT. It always gets stuck on the "Connecting to the internet..." step. I have chatted with Ziply tech support, and they have cleared the router MAC reservations on their end, which may have blocked a new router, but it's still not working. The Ziply tech support rep said "with the Eero Wi-Fi 6 router, you will need a modem that can convert the connection." On the other hand, on Reddit, a few people have said that this SHOULD work, and that I basically have Ethernet coming out of the ONT, so any router should work. Has anyone successfully connected to Ziply Fiber? Thanks for your help. --Mathias
