Questions from a newbie, particularly about cellular backup

Hi, before I ask the questions, this is how things are setup… First and foremost although this is the UK forum, and I’m based in the UK, my Ring setup is at my other home in Spain. In that house (this house, I’m here at the moment) I’d previously had about five cameras, monitored via the Ring Protect plan. I think that’s what it’s called, it’s the plan you pay for, with cloud storage, etc. for multiple devices. I’ve now added in an alarm system. It consists of the base and keypad, external siren, four door sensors and three movement sensors. After some flaffing around I’ve got it all setup and working the way I want it to work. What I’m not sure about is the “Professionally Monitored” service, and cell backup. Is the pro monitor service available in Spain? If it is, is it part of the regular Protect plan that I presently have? I have read the site, but it’s pretty ambigious in places. It seems to be saying it is, but it seems too cheap! How does the pro service actually work? Old alarms of mine have been monitored in a way that when it goes off and is a double fault, the monitoring station calls me, and if they can’t get hold of me they call the police. Is the Ring service the same? Again, I’ve read the website, but it’s not particluarly clear. Cellular backup: at the moment if the alarm goes off, the app on my phone tells me. But of course this relies on the internet connection into the house and my wifi in the Spain house working. If the wifi/connection goes down, does the base station continue to communicate with the app, but via the cellular backup network? So I still get notifications etc. Or, is the cellular backup only for the pro montoring? ie. if the internet is down and the alarm goes off, the monitoring company are informed via the cellular backup, but no communication is made with the app? That’s it, not now! I hope my questions are clear, all help appreciated.
