New Sensor 2 gen, show tampered

Hi, My new motion detector ,2nd gen, when I first time set up, it shows tampered. I re-cover the back, delete device, add again… tried many times, but still show tampered. Any recommendations ? Thank you.

    Hi @Day0610. Make sure the cover on the Motion Detector is firmly snapped into place, otherwise it will display the Tampered message in the Ring App if the cover isn't fully on. If it is snapped into place, and you still see the Tampered message after trying a [factory reset](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000071906-How-to-Factory-Reset-Your-Ring-Alarm-Devices) of your Motion Detector, our support team can help further.
