Door contact sensor keeps falling off and batteries going everywhere...

What is the workaround for this?   Happens all the time very frustrating.   The sensor's base plate is secure to the door (with the doublesided tape) - but mounting the sensor onto it - over time it will just fall off with the door opening and closing.   Nothing is touching it.  It just doesn't fit snug enough onto the base plate. Some kind of glue that will secure it and easily break apart (without much force) when batteries need changing.
