Alarm Motion sensor fault
Hi all, I’m new to Ring alarms, but not cameras. Yesterday, one of my motion sensors was stuck on “motion detected” in app. I walked in front a few times and away again, but wouldn’t clear. I removed sensor from backplate and received the tamper alarm, refitted and still stuck on motion detected. In the end, I had to remove batteries for 1 minute, refit to sensor and sensor to backplate and it cleared it. Is this a common issue?? Also, it would be great if/when alarm is activated, there is an option for outdoor camera floodlights to flash, opposed to just come on solid. It’s a bit more alarming as a deterrent imo. Anyway, any feedback on motion sensor? I’ve also had an issue with keypad losing connection and had to hard reset to get it working again. My old wired system was so much more reliable.
