2nd Gen Alarm Keypad not lighting up

Hooked up my new Gen 2 Ring Alarm today. Noticed keypad is not lighting up at all any ideas why? It works but it is supposed to light up when dark in room and it is not.

    I just activated a new Ring system tonight, and the keypad won't light up the numbers with motion. The power save mode is not activated, so that isn't the issue. It will light up only the Disarm, Home, or Away buttons but nothing else. Anyone have a solution?

      Hey neighbors, you can now choose between the following 3 modes for the Ring Alarm Keypad (2nd Generation): * **Keep Mode Button Lit.** LED lights will stay on at all times (when plugged into a working power source). * **Motion Turns on Lights.** LEDs light up when sensing motion. * **Button Press Turns on Lights.** LEDs light up only when you press a button on your Keypad (preserves battery power). To choose Keypad modes, open your Ring app, navigate to your Keypad device on the main menu, then go to the **LED Settings** tile. You can learn more in [this](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042894911-Ring-Alarm-Keypad-2nd-Gen-Lights-and-Buttons-Explained) Help Center article. :slight_smile:

        I've never changed power mode and my keypad lights suddenly stopped lighting. It occurs whether it's plugged in or not and changing led options has no effect. It was on "button press turns on lights" but it no longer lights up. ![image|231x500](upload://88cf0OMjKF0YTapGN6AtUVjXCPV.jpeg)

            I have the opposite problem my buttons are all lit except for the disarmed button whilst I am at home. I have Button press turns on lights selected My keypad is on mains power and only started this on Monday when returned from a weekend away.
