Why hasn't RING updated their Wi-Fi?
RING seems determined to limit its doorbell performance, and customer satisfaction, by sticking to the **OLD** 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi standards. Since the primary user and reviewer complaints center around poor Wi-Fi performance, why hasn't RING upgraded to the faster 802.11 ac/ax Wi-Fi MiMo standards? Most of today's devices work with the 802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax standards therefore the requisite chip sets are available. So, why should anyone buy a RING doorbell that only functions at their Wi-Fi system's lowest performance levels?

I'd also like to see 802.11w added. Not that I'm in a particularly targeted neighborhood (as far as I know) but taking cybersecurity courses does tend to make one re-evaluate their own network security features...
