Voice unrecognizable on Ring speaker during Live

Please forgive my ignorance- I believe my ring doorbell is hard wired and battery operated as it is wired into my doorbell and the battery health shows at 75%. I say that as precursor to my issue. Anytime I speak from live - everything that comes out of the speaker is all static. But I have no problem hearing the person speaking through the ring doorbell. I am 0 for 3 with troubleshooting. WiFi is great - runs at 36 RSSI and I had the same issue with iOS on my iPhone 11 and now 15. Any ideas? Again this is only ring speaker to whoever is outside receiving. I can hear perfectly when they speak through my device. Many thanks!
