Video freezes as person approaches

So consistently now (ongoing issue) if a person walks up my walkway the camera picks them up from afar and recognizes a person versus just movement, but just prior to the button being pressed the video freezes for several seconds, and then recovers. Typically the delivery person or ringer is down my driveway and leaving. Anyone got a fix? I have reset already and it’s not a WiFi issue as it does the same home/away and it is hardwired.
