Video doorbell pro 2 wont ring indoor chime

troubleshooting

On my 2nd one, both do the same thing. With the pro power kit installed, the doorbell will not ring the indoor chime. Transformer is a 16v/10VA rating that is measuring 17.6V at the doorbell. Tech when I called back wants me to go through the whole connect disconnect reset try this try that procedure that I tried on the 1st one. Theres some sort of physical incompatibility issue here. I have 2 of the cheaper video doorbells and those work fine in all 3 locations, but this Pro 2 doesnt work anywhere. If I remove the pro power as suggested by the first rep I spoke to, the chime just rings continually and never stops as long as the Pro 2’s wires are connected. Chimes are digital and on the list of compatible chimes. Ive tried both mechanical and digital settings with no change. I honestly wouldnt care, but both the chime and doorbell were bought months ago when my contractor asked for them so neither one is returnable at this point and I’m some $XXXX into a non working system.
