Using existing Ring with new WiFi modem & router
How do I make my existing RING doorbell work with a new modem and router I just set up to replace my old one? Thank you.

Must you remove the doorbell if it is hardwired? In order to connect to the new Wi-Fi router? How is this possible? my Bell is hardwired to the frame. in your video the hand is holding the Bell and shows a button in the back of the Bell but my bell is hardwired to the frame of my house.

Hi @Mimere! This will depend on the model of Video Doorbell you have. The Video Doorbell Pro have a setup button on the side, and the newest battery-powered Video Doorbells will often have the button on the front. If you have a model that has a setup button on the back, this would require removing it from the mounting bracket, in order to access the button. I hope this helps! :)

Hey @paparyder. If you go into the Ring App \> Main Menu \> Devices \> Doorbell \> Device Health \> Change or Reconnect Wifi, you can change the network it is set up under from there! :)
