I had guests in a short-term property disconnected wifi, so my Ring video doorbell disconnected, and then partied big time. Tens of people when then property had only 6 people limit and a strict to-partying rule. To prevent this from happening, I'd like Ring to have an option to connect to a predefined backup wifi network (neighbor's network, I can talk to him / pay to him for this). I can't find this in settings anywhere. If this is missing, I am thinking to use a generic "xfiniti" network from Comcast, as since most of comcast-owned internet modems are dual-homes, have two wifi SIDs - one your personal one, and another a generic "wifi" network so other Comcast customers can roam around and still take leverage of the wifi coverage of all other devices, not just your own wifi network. I think that's how Comast's xfiniti wifi coverage works ?
