Talking Door Bell
Recently my door bell has started talking. It says "Hi, you're currently being recorded" when motion is detected. How do I disable this 'feature'?

Thank you for responding. I'm still having an issue with the voice notification or 'motion warning'. As I mentioned before this started all by itself. I didn't touch anything or adjust any settings.I have tried to follow the 'motion warning' article but it's frustrating when it says to tap on something that isn't there. For example, I open the Ring app. I tap the [more] icon for my doorbell. I tap my device settings, but there is no 'smart responses' tile to tap! Therefore no 'motion warning' to tap. There is a 'notification settings' tile which opens to 'App Alert Tones', with two options, Motion Alerts and Ring Alerts. The both have two additional options, 'Alert' and 'Silent'.I have tapped 'Silent and the thing still talks when motion is detected.

THi @user_a1fc51. What specific doorbell model do you have? What type of phone do you have and what version of the Ring app is installed? Additionally, you can try resetting the doorbell and reconnecting it to WiFi. You can do this by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing it. Let me know if this is helpful.

Hi @user_a1fc51. This would be the Motion Warning feature, which you can toggle off under the Smart Responses tile in the Ring app. I hope this helps!
