Solid white light on Ring Doorbell Wired

I understand that a solid white light on a wired Ring doorbell means it's in idle mode. Does this mean that its normal for the light to stay on 24/7? If so, is there a way to turn it off?

Hi @jcarter. Yes, the light on your Doorbell Wired will be dimly lit in white at all times. It may appear off during the day, since the LED is relatively dim. This light cannot be toggled off.
