Ring Pro Set Up - Not Finding Wifi

Hi all, I assume this has been answered before, but I cannot find the topic. I have gotten to the connect to wifi stage of set up, but the Ring Pro is not finding my wifi. The app says to chage my wifi channel to 6 temporarily and when I do that, I still don't see my wifi. When I refresh the page on the app for wifi available, the list doesnt change. There are few houses 7/8 houses away that I can see on the wifi list, but not mine. Im about 15 feet from the router, and its picking it up on my laptop much further back than that Thanks!
