You are stating what your sales literature says "will" happen without replying to the question as to what is actually happening. I have 20.6 volts ac at the terminals of my Ring doorbell but it will not charge. The Ring app is telling me it is operating off battery power. Please, for me and all t

DIf the weather is cold the battery will NOT take a charge from the hard wiring according to searches I have been doing. As far as I am concerned this is a fault of Ring for cold weather climates and is TOTALLY unacceptable. I have spoken to 4 people with cheap imitations and their doorbells are work

BThat also doesn’t make sense , because I used it for 2.5 consecutive years and I had 0 issues. They changed something on their end! After Christmas 2019! That’s all. @Ring, fix it!

DNot really, at least no solution. They keep saying they will refer it to their design people. It is extremely annoying. Everyone else can make it work but not Ring. I’m pretty sure something has happened since a recent firmware update. My ring doorbell 1 has been wired and always stayed at 100%. It’s now starting to drop following a recent update.

I just went through an entire day trying to figure out why I was having the same issue. I have the correct transformer, wires all in place... it was not until I was about to give up that I replace the unit back onto the bracket and PUSHED really hard. I admit I was frustrated. It worked. Why? Because it was not making solid contact. The bracket was slightly twisted. When I pushed down to place it back on the bracket, it went on tighter than ever before. The white light came on. The app said "hardwired". PTL it worked.

WI think the problem is the app itself. Mine's hardwired and the battery has been going down and the app says the battery is at 83% so I just brought the video camera in to charge it but when I plug it in to charge it all of the blue segments are lit up inticating a full charge. Update: after 5 minu
