RIng 3 Motiondetection not reliable

Question

My RIng sometime detect motion and sometimes not. Also a car is often not detected. My firmware is up to date and i try reconfigure detectionzone thousend times with no result. Can any one help?

Hi @MrBiggles. The Doorbell is designed to detect visitors at your door rather than cars passing by on the street or other motions far from the door. I'd first recommend checking the [Motion Frequency](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003477106-Understanding-and-Optimizing-Motion-Detection-with-Motion-Frequency) settings, as you may want to change it to Frequent if you want to ensure all motion is captured.
