It would be a big help if when hooked up to the usb cable to see the status of wether its charging or not. So this way there is no guessing if the lithiom battery is ok and charging properly or if not and possably needing a new battery or new device if the battery isnt sold seperatly.

Hi @MoJoRisn. This Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/206129023-How-to-Charge-Your-Ring-Doorbell-Battery) has information on how to charge your Ring device. The battery can take up to 6 hours for a full charge. If your battery doesn't charge after being connected for 8 hours or more, it may need to be replaced.
